CENTERVILLE,
SD
WHERE YOU
MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
-
Located in Southeastern South Dakota, Centerville has
agricultural roots and a Scandinavian heritage. Centerville
is a small town of approximately 910 people, where families
enjoy a relaxed Midwestern lifestyle without the concerns of
a big city. We are a friendly, family-oriented community,
where citizens work together to achieve our goals. You may
be entertained by our small school rivalries at a Friday
night football game, meet your friends at the annual
Firemans Street Dance, or purchase a cup of lemonade from
the local kids at a lemonade stand in their front yard.

True to our name, Centerville is located in the center of
several more metropolitan areas. Sioux Falls, population
150,000, is 40 minutes to the northeast, along I-90.
Yankton, population 12,000 is 45 minutes to the southwest,
down Highway 81. Vermillion, home of the University of South
Dakota, is 25 minutes to the south on Highway 19. Lennox,
S.D. is 25 minutes to the north and Parker, the county set
of Turner County, is 30 minutes to the northwest, and the
list goes on
. To coin a phrase, you can get there from
here.
